How BrandKabal collects, uses and protects your personal information.
This policy explains what personal information BrandKabal ("we", "us") collects through brandkabal.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are based in Lagos, Nigeria. We aim to follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors in the UK and EU, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
What we collect#
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form we collect your name, email, company (optional), what you have in mind and your message.
- Newsletter sign-ups. Your email address and the date you joined.

- Files you upload. Every file is checked by an automated security scan, resized or compressed, and stored privately. CVs and attachments are only visible to authorised BrandKabal staff.
- Basic visit statistics. When you open a page we count the visit. We store the page address, the referring site, your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), your country if our hosting provides it, and a daily-changing anonymous code made from your IP address and browser. Who we share it with#
We do not sell your information. If you apply for a job listed on our board, we share your application with the hiring company so they can consider you. We may pass applications and requests to our own automation or hiring tools (for example Zapier, Notion, Greenhouse or Lever) so our team can respond. We use trusted service providers to run the site, such as our hosting provider and, if you consent, Google (Analytics). They may process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States and Europe, under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your rights#
You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your personal information, to object to or limit how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or, in the UK/EU, your local data protection authority.
Security#
We use encryption in transit, strong access controls, hashed passwords, limited staff access and regular updates to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
Children#
This site is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy we will update the date below. Last updated: 14 October 2026.
